In HP and the Philosopher's Stone, on page 136, the term 'pitch' is
used..."By eleven o'clock the whole school seemed to be out in the
stands around the  Quidditch pitch."

I just got the British version of OOP and haven't yet had time to make
a comparison in vocabulary. I did notice that the Scholastic version
seemed to be less 'Americanized'
