I have an 8th grade science teacher who told me today that she would like to bring her students to the library Monday to research an animal of their choice (vertebrates and invertebrates). They have selected a large variety of animals such as whales, penguins, oysters, scorpions, etc. They must create a model and a poster and provide information such as structural characteristics, habitat, how they catch their prey, how they protect themselves, its movement, environment, etc. I would like to provide some web sites for them. I will be searching tonight, but wondered if any of you have some sites that would help with this. Thanks in advance for your help.
