I have, for the last several years, been giving away money at the end of the year to the top readers in the school. I'd like to change that so that the average and low readers might have a chance to win something throughout the year. I'm in middle school, so bookmarks and pencils won't go over very well. I have money to provide the " prizes" but I am unsure how to go about getting students entered into a random drawing without incurring mountains of record keeping. Most of our teachers hold to a 15 point standard. That is, if you get 15 AR points in a 9 weeks, you get an A for that portion of your grade. So, does anyone have any ideas on how I go about getting students entered in such a drawing? I'd like your thoughts about what you do or what you'd like to do. Thanks for any help James Mong Librarian Riverview Middle School Huntington, IN jmong@hccsc.k12.in.us -------------------------------------------------------------------- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
