We are a 9-12th grade public, rural school. My teachers and principal are seeking high Bloom's level novel sets to use with our students. For example, one of our AP teachers uses "The Poisonwood Bible" with her classes but the principal says that is only a 6th grade level book. (I think she is getting the level from AR.) My teachers would like something to use besides the classics so the interest level will be higher along with higher Bloom's levels. We are trying desperately to raise our TAKS scores. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I could find a list or any individual suggestions? I will post a hit. All email is copyright protected. "Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read.
