I agree with Carol, that many administrators may be misinformed about the economy of e-textbooks. I know we received some free or inexpensive e-book subscriptions for Biology - only with the purchase of 125 print copies. I'm not sure if the e-books are in a pdf version with no images. Also - how do we ensure all students have computer access? And - is the digital content adaptable for special needs? I discovered a blog by Mark Nelson that addresses pros and cons of e-textbooks for k-12 and many other aspects, such as cost of image reproduction and insight from publishers. http://thecite.blogspot.com/search?q=ebook Vicki Reutter, LMS Cazenovia (NY) Jr. Sr. High School vreutt@aol.com vreutter@caz.cnyric.org ************** Looking for a car that's sporty, fun and fits in your budget?
