LM_NET Archive



This is a strategy (constructing an entry for Wikipedia) that I have used with 
older primary +.  I
start with them reading the main article and then researching the topic using other 
sources.  Some
of the things they have to do are 
-examine it for accuracy
-add one fact that is not mentioned
-write a new section
-write an article
The complexity varies as they get older and moves from being a class-based activity 
to shared to
individual.

There is much that we can do to have our students understand their tools of choice 
apart from
burying our heads and banning them!
