All the ingredients are set in place for libraries to take on a new function within schools - live international connections via technology - tie them and integrate into to curriculum and use conferences like IASL to collaborate and set up regular connections worldwide either synchronous or asynchronous. Platforms and all those details can be worked out. But use the school library itself as the initiator and center of these activities.
