I have to add a hearty second to Mr. Muller's words about The Titan's Curse and all
of the Percy Jackson books. They have also been very popular at my school library
with the 4th and 5th grade and have definitely boosted interest in Greek mythology.
As a hint, if you want to introduce some of your guys to this series, check out
the video at this website:

I linked to this site from my library webpage and used the site's video as an
example to show my students some of the "favorite series" links that I included.
(But do remember to turn the volume down if you're prone to jump at thunder.) They
were mesmerized.
