[LM_NET] TAR: 4th/5th Grade Novel Recommendations

Hi All - 
I have some money to spend and while I've got my picture book collection well in 
hand, I think I need some help with novels for my upper grade students (4th - 5th). 
 Would you please share any recently published 2008-10 books that you think are 
GREAT that I should purchase?  Also, I think I'm going to purchase The Red Pyramid 
from Rick Riordan's newest series.  What do you all think of this?  Is it for older 
kids or would students who loved The Lightning Thief series love it?
