Please - WHAT IS the "discreet signal" for: "How to signal "stop" to
nose-pickers discreetly." ?
This syndrome always seems to get worse in winter when the air is drier . .
. I sometimes have as many as three out of 20+ students at a time "dig for
treasure" as they sit on the carpet during story time. I guess I can be
thankful the carpet's old and brown ;-) , but I do try to get them to use a
tissue instead . . . !
I'm sure I speak for thousands of us when I ask - so if you know the signal,
please - tell us!
(BTW, my son's pediatrician told me that a TINY bit of petroleum jelly on a
cotton swab swabbed inside the nostrils would help during winter - and it
does. I wish I could send this info to all the mothers of preschoolers
through 3rd grade . . . !)
