On-going technical support costs for library software can seem like a big slice of the budget, but I like to compare it to the cost of recovering all the library's data if something goes wrong. Even if you don't happen to get an update within a particular year, I've found having access to things like knowledge bases (only available to support customers) can be very helpful in tracking down problems. ...brig -- Brig C.
