My principle at the middle school would like to know what program is out there that
can be used to measure reading comprehension for middle school students. We have
Reading Counts at the K-8 level and Accelerated Reader at the high school level. I
told him about STAR reading but don't know if we can use it along with our Reading
Counts program. I also am wondering what other software or program you are using
in your schools that you would recommend. Here is what he is needing.....

1. A test that students can take monthly
2. A test that measures a student's reading comprehension and whether it is
improving
3. A test that not only gives the student a reading level (or grade level) but also
a percentage pass (like 80 out of 100 right).
4. He would like this to be the same test given each month so that we have accurate
ways of seeing if the student is improving their reading comprehension.

Thanks for all of your help. I will post a hit of the results. Brenda Lemon
